For the first time GDMF in collaboration with the Association of Deaf Muslims Gambia (ADMG) and the Government of the Gambia is hosting the conference in the continent of Africa. The 4th International Conference of Deaf Muslims (ICDM) is scheduled to take place in the Gambia from the 28th of November to the 2nd of December, 2022 on with theme Deaf Muslims; Social Media, and Technology.

Anyone wishing to present a paper during the 4th ICDM, must submit a A4 one-page abstract in electronic format (PDF) directly to the GDMF using the form below. Instructions on how to upload the abstract to GDMF is provided below or you can contact us if you have further questions. The abstracts must be submitted through this form before 25th October, 2022. No other form of submission will be accepted.
Authors will be notified by email by November 2022 whether their proposal have been accepted for presentation and will be informed of the assigned presentation session.
Full proposal shall be submitted through the same form below as abstract. This form will be reopened for submission of papers until November 1, 2022.
All participants should register and are responsible for their own travel arrangements as well accommodation. GDMF and our partners don’t provide accommodation/travels for participants.
Participants are responsible for taking the steps required to obtain a visa or entry permission for the Banjul, Gambia. As the processing of visa applications can take some time, participants are strongly advised to start this process as soon as possible. Participants are strongly encouraged to refer to the web site for details on how to apply especially as the specifics can change in accordance with the COVID-19 situation.
